Ringwoodite Visible Spectra (350 - 1050 nm)
synthetic crystal, 0.047 mm thick. The black trace is through the full thickness of the sample. The sample is nearly opaque and gives poor data. The blue trace is through an inclusion in the sample that effecively decreases the thickness through which the data are obtained. The blue color color of this substance comes from its iron content.
