Titanite Visible Spectra (380 - 1100 nm)
Titanite may contain iron, chromium (green) or rare earth elements which give it color.
It also is subject to radiation damage which gives it a brown color. A full interpretation
of all the broad bands in the titanite spectrum has yet to be presented.

Weak but sharp absorption lines from the rare earth elements are visible in
this spectrum. Most prominent in this spectrum are neodymium lines between 700
and 800 nm, and an ytterbium line at 972 nm.
