Amarantite Visible Spectrum
(300 - 1300 nm)Amarantite is a hydrated ferric phosphate, Fe2(SO4)2O·7H2O. It is noteworthy in that it has a tetramer of four 6-coordinate Fe3+ ions sharring two common oxide ions that allows magnetic interactions among the ions resulting in enhanced absorption band intensity.
