Over the past decade, based on the studies of Josephson, a new
generation superconducting quantum electronics is being developed in
many laboratories. This paper is a report of the development of a
mangnetometer instrument, based on the principles of quantum
superconductivity, which in now in routine use in our laboratory for
matnetochemical measurements. We outline the nature of biochemical
problems and relate it to the requirements of a magnetomer system and
describe the apparatus and its methods of use.
