Coquimbite Visible Spectra (400 - 1300 nm)

Coquimbite, Fe₂(SO₄)₃·9H₂O, contains an isolated, non-hydroxy-bridged ferric iron dimer in three distinct coordination environments: [Fe(OSO₃)₆];  [Fe(H₂O)₆];  Fe₂(H₂O)₃(OSO₃)₃] and shows a fairly typical ferric iron spectrum.
