Locality: The Minh Tien pegmatite, south east of Luc Yen, northern Vietnam

Composition:
Most of the analyzed tourmalines from the Luc Yen district are elbaite, but some of the pink ones with low concentrations of manganese and nearly no iron have been identified as rossmanite by Simmons (quoted in Wilson, 2007; Falster and Simmons, 2019).
